Management of Assaultive Behavior is a violence prevention course designed for those who work in healthcare field. This course covers both AB-508 and Workplace Violence Prevention SB1299.
This class covers defensive techniques and proper de-escalation of patients in a crisis situation before the situation turns violent. This class covers all requirements set by AB-508 to be certified in MAB and Workplace Violence Prevention SB1299.

The Management of Assaultive Behavior certification is done as a hybrid format.
This is an 8 hour course that is recognized in California for training in MAB AB-508 and Workplace Violence Prevention in accordance with sections 1257.7 and 1257.8 of the health and safety code and section SB1299.
